Introduction to drones, drone safety and flying. Inspiring the Next Generation of Drone Pilots
Class Description
At Young Innovators Club, our Drone Club introduces children to the exciting world of drone technology through hands-on learning, guided practice, and structured challenges. Children will learn how to safely operate drones, starting with the basics of take-off, landing, and control, before progressing to more advanced manoeuvres and racing techniques. As their confidence grows, they’ll take part in obstacle courses and team-based challenges that develop precision, coordination, and quick thinking. Beyond flying, we explore the technology behind drones — helping children understand how they work, how they are used in real-world industries, and the principles of engineering and problem-solving that make flight possible. Our sessions are designed to build: Confidence and independence Hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness Teamwork and communication skills Interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) All activities are delivered in a safe, structured environment, and led by a CAA-certified instructor, ensuring children learn responsibly while having fun. Whether your child is a complete beginner or ready to race, our Drone Club offers an engaging and future-focused experience where learning truly takes flight.
